Brad Carroll
Studying Music Theatre at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (2007), Brad enjoyed roles at WAAPA in shows such as West Side Story, Sweet Charity, Once on This Island, Assassins, Hiawatha and played Charlie Faulkner in David King and Nick Enright’s musical The Good Fight which was taken to New York in September 2007 as part of the New York Music Theatre Festival; as well as appearing in the Perth Season of The Boy From Oz with Hugh Jackman. Brad also works as an accompanist/pianist and Musically Directed the WAAPA 2007 Graduating Cabaret 18 Bites of the Big Apple.
Since graduating, Brad workshopped a new Australian musical In A Pink Tutu for Kookaburra and then played the role of William when it was mounted to stage in 2010 for the Sydney Fringe Festival. Brad spent the majority of the past three years working with THE WIGGLES. Most notably, Brad was the Purple Wiggle for the 2011 North American Wiggle tour, whilst Jeff Fatt underwent heart surgery. Other roles included the Red Wiggle in the Middle East tour (2010), Captain Feathersword and numerous Wiggle TV and DVD productions, including the role of Bobby the Policeman in The Wiggles’ production The Kingdom of Paramithi for the Nine Network.
Brad has also appeared on Channel 7′s Carols in the Domain, Showqueen Sundays, Opera Australia, The Annual Cabaret Showcase and an advertisement for Big W Department Stores.
