From the central Coast of New South Wales, Josh has attained the highest levels in his genre of dance and musical theatre.
Classically trained in ballet and having performed in numerous solo roles for The Australian Ballet including
In The Upper Room, Spartacus, Four Temperaments, In The
Night, Don Quixote, Mercurial Maneouvres, Voluntaries,
Por Vos Muero, Romeo and Juliet, The Three Musketeers and
Divergence.
Josh played the role of ‘Older Billy’ in the Australian production of
Billy Elliot and his other Australian musical theatre roles were in
Dirty Dancing and Tivoli.
Josh was asked to play the lead role of Tony in the Billy Joel music/dance production of
Movin’ Out on London’s West End. Whilst in the UK he also played in
Guys and Dolls.
In March 2009 Josh was asked to take over the role of ‘Older Billy’ in the Broadway production of
Billy Elliot.
