Kyle Sapsford

Hailing from the Southern Suburbs of Sydney, Kyle was a late-comer to singing, beginning his vocal training at the age of 18. He’s never looked back, going on to study at the Australian Institute of Music (Bmus Music Theatre) and still today training under some of the finest vocal coaches around (Gerry Sword and Robert Bertram to name a few). Whilst studying he had the opportunity to be involved in many of AIM’s great productions. Most notably in the Australian musical LoveBites (Directed by Neil Gooding) and his favourite role to date, Sweeney Todd in Sweeney Todd (Directed by Stuart Maunder). Outside of study Kyle has been involved in productions such as: Opera Australia’s La Traviata (Chorus), a tour throughout China with the musical Kiss Me Kate (Fred/Petrucchio), and the role of Corny Collins in Hairspray (Packemin Productions). Early in 2014, he enjoyed touring with The TEN Tenors throughout USA and Australia on their 2014 TEN Tenors ‘On Broadway’ World Tour.
2015 will see him join the casts of: Squabbalogic’s Man of La Mancha (Pedro); Close To You: A Salute to Karen Carpenter (Narrator); and Neil Gooding Productions Australian premiere musical Dogfight (Stevens).
Recently Kyle has also been honing his camera acting technique at Sydney Drama School, and can be seen in the odd TVC!
He would like to thank his family and friends for their constant support.
