Paul Green

Born in Western Australia, Paul started dancing at the age of 14. At 17 Paul moved to Sydney where he met world-renowned dance instructor and dance expert Helen Richey and it was Helen who guided Paul through his dance career and was instrumental in Paul attaining World Champion status.

Paul travelled the world extensively representing Australia and has resided in Japan, Russia, Hong Kong, the USA and the UK for nearly 10 years.

Achievements include: 
WORLD 10 DANCE CHAMPION
7 TIMES AUSTRALIAN LATIN CHAMPION
2 x BRITISH OPEN TO THE WORLD CHAMPION
INTERNATIONAL OPEN TO THE WORLD LATIN CHAMPION
SOUTH PACIFIC LATIN CHAMPION
ASIAN PACIFIC LATIN CHAMPION
plus countless more awards and recognition.

Paul has appeared on numerous television shows including hosting his own segment on Sydney Weekender, hosting the televised 2007 Tatersall’s Australian Dancesport Championship and most recently he hosted the 2008 Tattersall’s IDSF World Latin Championships for a world-wide television audience.

In 2008, due to unequalled dance knowledge and talent, Paul was asked to take on the role of Dance Director for Series VIII of Dancing With The Stars – Australia.

Paul’s hobbies and experiences include:

Australian Rules Football
Tennis
Archery
Running
Water sports
and he has worked for Ogden SLC Utah SWAT in the area of Human Movement and Mechanics.
