Tamara Guo

Chinese born Australian Tamara Guo is one of China’s, Hong Kong’s and Taiwan’s best known leading ladies, her success is in various genres of the entertainment industry including television, film, musical theatre and cabaret. With 15 years of high action Kung Fu movies, more than 500 musical performances in Asia and Broadway and a television series that ran from 2005 to 2008.

A number of her credits from film and television include: Women On The Run - Hong Kong, Strong Wind Last Night - Hong Kong, Ghost House - Hong Kong, Technical Warrior 2020 – Korea & Hong Kong, Ghost’s Promise - Hong Kong plus various other film roles in Korea, Philippines, USA, Italy and Taiwan.

Tamara’s theatre and musical theatre credits include See The Golden Sun (Godot Theatre Co, Taiwan) for which she was recognised as one of the best musical performers in Taiwan. She was invited to perform in Broadway’s production of The Angel Never Sleeps that also toured Beijing, Shanghai and Hangshou in China and then across Taiwan. In 2001 Tamara played the lead in Peter Schaffer’s Amadeus in Taipei and from there performed in WWW.COM , an English speaking play that toured China.

As a singer Tamara has performed solo at the Sydney Opera House for the Chinese President, Jiang Zemin and she performed 22 concerts throughout Hong Kong organised by Jackie Chan.

She has performed some 2500 concerts in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, USA, Taiwan and Indonesia.

As a young girl Tamara won various awards including: Best Singer in Australia Youth Arts Competition; Best Singer in National Australian Chinese Singing Competition; Best Singer Sydney Chinese Singing Competition and has performed for world leaders.

Tamara has had 2 albums produced and released by Warner Music.

Today Tamara continues to entertain and offers Master Classes to students of television, film and musical theatre.
