Trisha Crowe
Trisha began her love for the stage from the age of four. She has performed in a variety of musical, dramatic and dance related productions including: Cymbeline, Twelfth Night and HMS Pinafore (Regent’s Park, London); Masterpiece – The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber (for the President of China in the Great Hall of the People, Beijing, and Shanghai); Oliver! (Cameron Mackintosh, Australia & Asia); Bridie O’Malley – Eureka! (Essgee); Yvonne/Naomi Eisen – Sunday in the Park with George (Q Theatre); Kathy – Company (Kookaburra); The Noel Coward Letters with the British actor, Barry Ingham, as well as Nellie – Floyd Collins (Meredith Shaw Pty Ltd).
Trisha’s solo concert appearances include Showstoppers (2006) and Songs From The Movies (2008) – Sydney Symphony at the Sydney Opera House; Broadway Showstoppers (2007) – Tasmanian Symphony; ASO On Broadway (2009) – Adelaide Symphony; Stars & Stripes Prom Concert (2010) – Canberra Symphony; the Darling Harbour Winter Concert Series; Riverside’s 20th Anniversary Gala Concert; Tommy Tycho’s 80th Birthday Celebration; Open Air Concert in Noosa Woods; and the French National Anthem for the Rugby League World Cup Series 2008.
Trisha has been involved with music therapy programs and charity events including the Olivia Newton-John and Friends Charity Gala (ONJ Cancer and Wellness Centre Appeal) where she received a standing ovation for Il Mio Cuore Va from Titanic; Hats Off (Equity Fights AIDS); Light The Night (Leukaemia Foundation); Day Of Difference (Sophie Delezio Foundation); Youth Insearch; Red Cross Charity Ball and together with the Sydney Symphony and MBF, she performed for The Children’s Hospital, Westmead and at the Powerhouse Museum for the mentally and physically disabled. Trisha holds a Bachelor of Music (Hons), studying Voice with Rita Hunter CBE and a Bachelor of Arts (Performance).
