Joshua Horner
Australian born Joshua Horner has been a versatile professional dancer all over the world. Starting out in the Australian Ballet for 5 years he then moved into Musical Theatre where he performed and created the role of ‘Jack’ in Tivoli ( Best Male Dancer Helpmann Award nom. and winner of Australian Dance Award for Outstanding Performance), he then covered the role of ‘Johnny Castle’ in the World Premiere of Dirty Dancing. Joshua then went to London to star in Twyla Tharp’s Movin’ Out on the West End where he played the lead role of ‘Tony’ followed by a tour of Guys and Dolls throughout the UK. Returning to Australia he played the role of the ‘Older Billy’ in Billy Elliot The Musical, a year later he moved to the USA to join the Broadway cast of Billy Elliot. Joshua now resides in Los Angeles where he is a freelance choreographer. His latest works for Disney’s Californian Adventure are the ‘ElecTRONica’ power surge show and the award winning ‘World of Color’ night time water fountain spectacular. Joshua is currently in production for ‘Soundsational’, Disneyland’s new Parade opening in May 2011.
